Eclipse Multi-Sport, in partnership with Orchard Park Recreation, The Town of Hamburg Police Dept, and the historic town of Orchard Park, offers you a competitive triathlon that accommodates veteran triathletes as well as anyone new to the sport of triathlon.
The open water swim will be monitored by The Buffalo Police Underwater Recovery Team in full dive suits to make sure anyone in distress is adequately cared for. In addition, Life Guard staff is in on hand for extra support of the participants of The QuakerMan.
The Olympic bike course
is a loop course which takes athletes by transition twice. Get ready for
some fan cheering and encouragement halfway through! For the Sprint distance bike, one loop is all you will need.
The 5K run through the beautiful quaint neighborhood of Green Lake and the neighboring Green Lake Development will keep you motivated. Finely tree lined and peaceful. Your finishing kick is close to being completely shaded. If you are doing the Olympic distance, you will run the run course 2 times, looping back through the park and getting some friendly encouragement halfway along.
